i have a very cheerful holiday in “the national day”. my parent and i went to shanghai about nine days ago.
we got there by plane, i think that shanghai must be a very big city, and there are a lot of tall buildings. first we went into the hotel named”chuang ye”. and we saw the tall big building “shanghai tv tower”, at nine in the evening, we got back to the hotel. the second day, we visited zhouzhuang. it’s very beautiful and the air was good, i bought my favorite toy : weapons. i like them very much. shanghai’s food tasted good. today we are very happy and tired, so we slept early in the night. the third day however, we didn’t go anywhere, we stayed in the hotel until late in the afternoon.
in the evening, we came back to tianjin by plane to. this travel was fantastic!

our school art festival is held once a year. i think this year’s was excellent because a lot of students and teachers took part in it. at first, the students of class1 grade6 danced the gangnam style. how wonderful they were! then, english teachers had an english choir. how good they were! i liked these two programs. finally the students of class3 grade7 sang pop songs. they sang so wonderfully! at last they won the first prize.

我的英语老师是和蔼的，但有时却很凶。她对我们很严厉。
不知怎的，从我第一眼见到她时，就觉得她不是一般人，身上有一种值得我们学习的精神。从那时起，我便下定决心要学习那种精神。
英语老师并不矮，高高的，她的皮肤有点黑，脸上有一点儿黑眼圈，那应该是她为我们操心和为教育而做出的贡献吧。还有她那短头发，让她看起来更精神。我最佩服的是她那孙悟空的“火眼金睛”，谁都逃不过她的法眼。
上课时，她也非常严肃，常常为了让我们更加理解而停下来。她对自己比对我们更加严格，容不得一点儿差错。她是常教育我们“光阴似箭，日月如梭。如果现在不好好把握好时间，以后后悔也来不及。要学会珍惜现有的机会，不要让机会离你而去。”她还经常说：“把握好当下，就把握好了未来。”
老师高兴时，她就会用一些闽南语来说那些上课不认真，做小动作。比如：死猪不怕开水烫。这些话并不幽默，但从她嘴里说出就会有一种幽默感。
其实，老师只是表面比较严厉，但心里却非常的善良，非常的关心她的学生。记得有一次，我同桌因为闹钟坏了，没来上学，她急忙打电话问我同桌的家长，因为我同桌从来都自己起床上学，所以她家长并不知道，后来才知道，老师那颗急促的心才平静下来。老师谢谢你，为我们做出的贡献。
