大学生小闫是一名职业大学的学生，假期在家闲着没事，发现自家大门外有个鸟窝，和朋友架了个梯子将鸟窝里的12只鸟掏了出来，养了一段时间后售卖，后来又掏4只。不料想，小闫和他的朋友小王就因为这几只鸟将面临着十年的牢狱之灾!他们不知道他们抓的鸟是国家二级保护动物燕隼!小闫和小王分别犯非法收购、猎捕珍贵、濒危野生动物罪等，被判刑10年半和10年，并处罚款。看到这个消息，相信好多小伙伴心中都打了一个激灵!并庆幸自己那些年掏过的的那些鸟没被警察叔叔发现，要不估计到现在还没有出来呢!的确，几只灰不溜秋的鸟就让两个年轻的大学生在狱中度过最美好的十年人生，确实是让人感到遗憾并且不可能的事儿，但是，毋庸置疑，这件事儿是真的，并且，从国家有关动物保护的法律规定来说，这还是从轻处罚!当然，面对这样的判决结果，小闫以及家人是各种不服，各种上诉!当然作为旁人，我们是不是也为小闫和他的朋友喊冤?其实，这事儿还真不能喊冤，并且因为抓鸟被判刑的，小闫不是头一个。就在xx年5月份的时候，北京61岁的牛大爷在八大处架了粘干，粘了两只黄雀，顺便也带走了3只自投罗网的灰喜鹊。没成想，当他兴冲冲的提溜着鸟往家走的时候，半路上碰到了正在巡逻的森林警察，看到他拿的鸟，认为他涉嫌违法!最后，牛大爷不得不在狱中度过半年!牛大爷当时在接受采访的时候说"我就没觉得这是个事儿!"
好一句"我就没觉得这是个事儿!"是啊，估计大家都觉得这就不是个事儿，但是现实无情，它就是个事儿!还是个严重的事儿，他们被判刑的明目都是涉嫌非法收购、捕猎珍贵、野生动物，小闫掏的鸟是国家二级保护动物燕隼，而牛大爷主要是捕猎野生动物。我们的周围各种动物，飞禽走兽，从小到大，我们每个人都有过玩儿小动物的经历，可是谁又能知道，这些动物会不会给自己带来牢狱之灾!我们怎么知道这些动物里面哪些是国家保护的，哪些是珍稀的，哪些又是濒危的?我们是不是以后碰到小动物的时候都要拿出手机打开百度去查查呢?国家相关部门只知道抓人，判刑，为什么他们不负责告诉我们哪些动物能碰哪些动物不能碰呢?那些高大上的诸如《动物保护法》等等的法律条文老百姓不可能一一去读，就是普通大学生研究生博士生也不可能通读所有法律条文，所以，我们根本不知道自己会在哪里犯罪，自己犯了什么罪?小闫的事情之所以会成为头条还不是因为大众的惊讶和不解吗?相信家里有鸟的那些人现在心里也不安吧!不知道什么时候进来一个警察说自己因为这只鸟犯法了。
这件事情已经发生，这个后果小闫即使有多不服也要承担，但是我们不能谴责谁，执法部门只是依法办事，小闫也是在不知情的情况下触犯法律，所以我们只能为我们国家对法律的宣传感到遗憾了!
我只能呼吁相关部门，为了防止小闫的事件再次发生，请你们受累加大法律的宣传，比如因地制宜的张贴广告，或者阶段性的对学生以及民众举行法律讲座，等等。(当然有的地方法律讲座在实行，但是却经常是敷衍了事。)希望大家都加强对法律的.重视程度，执法部门尽你们的职责以防民众犯法，广大民众尽自己的能力以防自己触犯法律!只希望，这样的事件到此为止!
